well im just trying to make my dream avi and its hard as hell okie i dont like to just sit and do stuff i wanna sit and get gold for nothing like just coming into gaia and i have some issus but no one will help me when i need it but my boyfriend which is emo cat adrian heart

As I often say, nothing worth while in life is very easy to obtain. You have to work for your gold.

I am a "rich gaian" I have a ninja headband Kisume mask and 2.5 million gold. I earn it with hard work. Not many gaians donate anymore because when you do you get swarmed with pms asking to donate.

either work for your gold, which is already more than easy enough to earn, or buy cash cards

The "rich" Gaians didn't just make that gold magically appear out of thin air, or get it over night. They sat on their bums and participated, they earned that gold one way or another. Have you ever considered those so called "rich" Gaians are also on a quest and have no room to donating their gold to others?

Well a lot of them didn't however, with the cash shop, if you have access to a lot of money irl, you could become a multi-millionaire over night on Gaia...

Selfish? You think we're selfish?? We earned our gold, we didn't just sit around and do nothing! It wouldn't be fair if you didn't have to do anything! And as for the reason why I don't donate to random strangers is because I'm usually questing for my own items that I really, really want, or the fact that I only donate to close friends. I haven't been doing much of it as of late, because all of my funds have been used up on my latest dream avis, Gimpi, and Fallen Wish. (Both first gen.) So untill I get my art shop commissions flowing, there won't be much donating for a while from me. Maybe when I become one of those millionheir Gaians I might donate more, but still only to good friends. Not just random people. Why? Because like Jekkceo said, if I were to donate to random people, I'd get swarmed by donation PMs and comments. And then I'd have to set my PMs and Profile to friends only, and that means I can't get comments/PMs from people who may be potentially new pals.

Bottom line is, get off your lazy butt and EARN YOUR OWN GOLD! If you don't want to do that, then go buy some Gaia Cash cards. Buy from the cash shop and sell! It's an easy, legal cheat... >n>

money hungry?! Rich? Not everyone is rich or money hungry. Most people don't donate to others cuz their working on their own dream avi or on their quest item.
As for your sister... just because she doesn't give you money doesn't mean she's money hungry... it is HER money after all she worked and save for it. She can do what she wants with it. She's most likely saving it up to buy something she really wants or saving for school.
You're selfish thinking that your should get more for doing nothing but sit there on your butt all day while other work.

Agreeing with the others here, I mean it's not like it is hard to earn gold on Gaia. I just earned over a thousand gold just for playing zOMG for an hour (and no, you can't have any, I'm on a quest).

All I can tell you is begging and berating people isn't getting you jackshit. If you wanted a donation, the SF form is CERTAINLY NOT the place to go. (No offense, guys! heart ) If I were you, I'd try asking the people in the Quests/Charity forums NICELY.

We earn our gold the hard way, through posting, games, and the marketplace. At least it isn't 2003-2006(?) Where posting and a few games were the only methods of getting enough gold to do anything with. It's also easier to just earn it on your own, so you can have something to be proud of, even if it is just digital.
